The Pond-O-Vac has been around now for quite a few years .. with Oase striving to improve what has to be one of the best selling Pond Vacuum Kits available today...
Their latest mode THE POND O'VAC 3 will be superb and is a sludge vacuum cleaner which can remove particles of dirt , algae, string algae, sludge, dead vegetation and bits of leaves from the pond by the way of suction without having to evacuate the pond dwellers and without irritation from the pungent smell of ammonia.
The sludge is drawn through an adjustable suction nozzle into the container. Once the container is full of sludge, Pond O Vac Switches off the suction side of the system and a special valve opens automatically allowing the 40 litres of sludge to drain out of the tank. This takes approximately 25 seconds. Then the vacuum is switched on again.
The Pond O'Vac 3 will be easier to move around as it will have its own wheels built into the special carrier...
The sludge are removed by suction and can be used as fertiliser for the garden.
It also has a superb new control panel which also forms the top access to the actual motor and to enable you to be able to clean out the Pond O'Vac 3 very easily at the end of the day...So you can be sure that when you next need your Pond O'Vac 3 will be ready for use...
PONDOMATIC
Pondomatic is a sludge vacuum cleaner, which can remove loose particles of dirt up to 10mm in size, algae, string algae, sludge, dead vegetation and bits of leaves from the pond by way of suction. The Pondomatic's 27 litre tank is made of impact resistant plastic and features a unique sludge draining system. The sludge is drawn through an adjustable suction nozzle (2-10mm) into the container via a 4m connecting hose.
Once the container is full of sludge, the motor switches off automatically (Read Switch). As soon as this happens a special valve at the end of the 2m long discharge hose opens automatically allowing the sludge to drain out of the tank. This takes approximately 25 seconds. The vacuum then starts up again. Included are 3 extra vacuum style nozzles and a net for the discharge hose to catch large particles, such as leaves and blanket weed.
